About

My name is Richard Peacock.  I am a web application programmer for a small university.  I hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same university.  I have created numerous web sites for myself and clients, as well as various games including an Xbox 360 Indie Game (Alien Pyramid Challenge).

Many times while programming, I have to stop and consult Google to find the answer to a frustrating problem.  I usually find that answer in the form of a forum or blog post on some obscure web site, and I'm always grateful that such a post existed.  If it hadn't, I probably would have been stuck banging my head against the desk for a few more hours.

Over the years, I've discovered lots of various programming tricks, shortcuts, and techniques, but I had no way of sharing that information with the rest of the world.  So this web site is meant to provide just those kinds of code snippets, tips and tricks, and insight which future web surfers might stumble upon.

If you find any of the posts on this site useful, please leave a comment and tell me what you think.

Happy coding!
